CHEESE. Enough said. This recipe was inspired by my fiance’s neighbor who just has knack for pairing flavors together. Never would I have imagined jalapeno jelly and brie cheese going so well together. This recipe takes literally a few minutes to put together and with only 15 minutes in the oven can be ready quickly as an appetizer for guests…or to eat selfishly all on your own. Because let’s face it, cheese is just really hard to share sometimes!
Ingredients needed:
- 1 small wedge or circle of French Brie
- 4 TBS jalapeño jelly
- 1 pack of ready to bake croissants
- 1 egg white
Spread the croissant dough on wax paper or aluminum foil on baking sheet. Then place Brie in the center of dough and spread jelly on top and fold over croissant to seal in cheese. Brush egg white all over and place in oven for roughly 15 minutes or until golden.
