This Jalapeño Cucumber + Guava cocktail is Sweet and Spicy, the perfect combination for all things in life. Am I right?
What I love about this drink is the kick of spice doesn’t hit you until you’ve enjoyed the sweetness of your sip. I’d say it’s a nice little surprise, but the drink’s name reads “jalapeño”. You can totally act surprised after every sip though…that may be fun.
Anyway, if the “surprise” kick doesn’t make you want to break those 5 o’clock rules and make this drink for breakfast, brunch and lunch too….then maybe the fact that it has GUAVA NECTAR will do it for. And if that still doesn’t, then I think we’re done here.

Ingredients needed:
- 1/2 jalapeño, sliced
- 1/2 cucumber, sliced
- 10 oz of Guava Nectar (or Guava 100% Juice)
- 1 tbs agave
- Splash of Grapefruit Juice
- Ice
Muddle the cucumber and jalapeño slices until all juices have been let out. Pour juice into a cocktail shaker along with ice. Shake vigorously for 60 seconds. Pour mixture into the bottom of each glass (this amount serves two glasses). Then pour in 5 ounces of Guava Nectar into each glass. Add 1/2 tbs agave to each drink. Splash each with some grapefruit juice and sprinkle a little sugar on the glass rims. Garnish with a jalapeno slice and viola you’re ready to go!
