If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. And that’s generally how I feel about cold brew, or coffee in general. It’s perfect the way it is. (I really have a love affair with it.) However, if you can spike your cold brew with a boozy vanilla flavor…well, you should. Then you’ll get this Cold Brew Coffee Cocktail and take your afternoon (ahem…after 5 o’lock 😉 ) coffee break to new heights.
Servings: 2 Ingredients:
- 16 ounces of your own homemade cold brew or favorite store bought cold brew, Trader Joes is a good option
- 2 ounces of your favorite vanilla bean vodka, I chose SKYY Vodka
- Vanilla Bean paste, optional (but life is short and this stuff is amazeballs)
- Ice for serving
Simply combine the cold brew, vodka and ice in a cocktail shaker. Pour evenly into two glasses. Drip down the rim of the glasses vanilla bean paste (you can find this at your local baking store or HomeGoods.) It adds a wonderful touch of pure vanilla sweetness.
