Transitional Skirts: How to Wear Skirts in Fall

I hope you all had a wonderful long weekend! How are we already in September with the last days of Summer nearing? It’s so crazy to think the holiday season is right around the corner, I’m so excited! Anyway, as I’ve mentioned before here, Fall is always slow approaching here in Miami. So, we get to sport Summer looks well into September and even October. However, just like the cities that do get chilly sooner, I also want my Summer pieces to work for Fall. Along with this end of Summer look, I’m sharing transitional skirts that can take you from Summer to Fall!

Even a piece like this embroidered ruffle skirt can work for Fall so easily! While this exact look is what I’ll be wearing for a bit more time here in warm and sunny Miami, once the weather cools down I’m definitely going to be pairing this skirt with a crop sweater or light cashmere sweater tucked in. That’s the easiest way to take your Summer skirts and make them Fall appropriate (and super cute too!).

We’re in a great little timeframe right now for purchasing pieces like skirts too, since most stores are getting stocked with pants and long-sleeve dresses. So it’s a great time to grab a few cute styles you can wear for not only next Spring/Summer, but also during this Fall too!
