My 2017 Fall Bucket List

My 2017 Fall Bucket List

Happy Friday! I’m so excited, because not only are we close to the weekend, but the weather in my neck of the woods is finally chilly enough to wear a light sweater! I wanted to share what I’m hoping to do this Fall with my 2017 Fall bucket list.

  1. Visit a Pumpkin Patch. These are hard to come by in Miami, but I’ve heard this is a good option: Coconut Grove Pumpkin Patch.
  2. Bake something pumpkin from scratch. I did make this Pumpkin Spice Frosting, but I want to bake something Pumpkin!
  3. Have a bonfire with fiends. Or at the very least, sit outside on blankets drinking hot cocoa (possibly spiked 😉 ) with friends.
  4. Learn how to cook a hearty fall soup stew. Check! I actually have been making beef stew and it is SO good. Recipe here.
  5. Go to either a harvest festival or Halloween event. I think I’ll be choosing Halloween on the Mile, mainly so I can see all of the doggies dressed up, because there is a dog costume contest too!
  6. Host a scary movie night. Whether it’s just the hubs, the pups and me or a few friends, I love classic horror movies and would love to have a marathon-popcorn and candy included!
  7. Write thank you notes to friends and family telling them why I’m thankful for them. I usually do this with my hubs, but I think this year I want to share the love!
  8. Host a Fall beer night by finding a bunch of seasonal brews and tasting them all.
  9. Watch Hocus Pocus. I’ve been saving this one for Halloween night!
  10. Make this Caramel Apple Sangria. Looks so yummy! But if I get lazy and need something equally delicious, but easier to make I’ll go for this Apple Ginger Snap.
