Stripes and high waisted denim are a perfect combination that’s both classic and fresh-toss a blazer over the look and it becomes a nice balance of understated structure. All of these pieces are styles I keep multiples of in my closet, so I sometimes look for the same pieces in a few variants. Like my stripe long-sleeve shirt.

So I have this stripe side slit tee in two colors and I’m definitely going to a get another two colors. I love the fabric, fit and of course versatility of it. And it’s only $19!

I talked a lot about these high waisted jeans in my petite jean style guide, but they’re actually not just for petite ladies. The fit is just so good and the wash pairs perfectly with just about any top. It’s also one of the few jeans I wear that isn’t tattered and uber-distressed. I usually like my jeans looking like a semi-truck ran over them. So yea, that’s how much I love these particular jeans!

Also, one pair of shoe I can’t stop wearing sine the beginning of Fall are black mule slides. I have a few pairs in open-toe and closed-toe styles and love them all. Here are some great options, I have a few of them myself!
