I know the official start Spring is still a month away, but having fun transitioning your style for the season can start already. I love doing this by finding dresses in patterns and prints that work for this in-between time of the year: not yet Spring, but when it also doesn’t really feel like Winter still either. I don’t know why the end of February/beginning of March always feels like a weird seasonal limbo. Do you ever feel that way?

Transitional Outfit Idea for Spring
This ruffle tie dress is one of my favorite style of dresses, because of it’s tie-waist and ruffle hem. Both of those details are so flattering. In addition to the print I’m wearing, this dress style also comes in a pretty Chartreuse and floral print-even more appropriate for Spring. Although I will say, I love the mix and match pattern of the dress I’m wearing. It’s so fun and unique!
If your local weather is still on the colder side, you can style this dress with cute OTK suede boots. I actually have a pair in the same burgundy as these heels that I would love to wear with this dress, but I think Miami has kissed it’s cold weather goodbye. So I’ll be wearing this ruffle tie dress with heeled and flat sandals for months to come.
