The other day I came across Bols flavored liqueur. I had never heard of it, but saw the awesome reviews and awards it has won, so I wanted to give it a try. I thought watermelon would be a great flavor to try out with Summer quickly approaching.
Today I’m sharing a Summer Watermelon Cocktail Recipe that would be perfect for this Memorial Day weekend!
I’m so glad I went with that flavor, it tastes just like watermelon juice, except with quite the kick. Although I used vodka in this recipe, I can definitely see myself using this liqueur mixing up some watermelon margaritas in the near future!
Summer Watermelon Cocktail Recipe
- 2 oz Bols Watermelon liqueur
- 2 oz Absolut Lime Vodka
- 1/2 cup of cubed watermelon
- 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
- 2 oz club soda
- 1 oz agave nectar
In a cocktail shaker, muddle the watermelon cubes until it turns to juice. Strain the juice into two glasses, equal parts. Fill the cocktail shaker with a handful of ice, pour in watermelon liqueur, lime vodka, agave nectar and lime juice. Shake. Pour evenly into the two glasses. Top off with club soda, an ounce in each glass. Give drinks a little stir and serve!
