My Favorite Skincare Products Under $20

I am a mega skincare junkie. And there’s no doubt that I have dropped major $ on products continue to do so. (You can find my favorite more of my favorite skincare products here). However, there are actually a handful of products I use and love that are crazy affordable. Here are my favorite skincare products under $20!

The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution

I’ve talked about how much I love glycolic acid many times, it’s my favorite acid to use on my face. (I’m aware of how weird that sentence sounds) It’s by far the most effective, yet gentle acid that I’ve noticed the most difference with in my skin tone and texture. This ordinary glycolic acid takes no time to brighten my skin and I love that I can use it everyday. Although I still use my drunk elephant glycolic night serum, I find that this toner would be an amazing affordable substitute, considering it’s $70 cheaper.

Rosehip Seed Oil by Leven Rose, 100% Pure Unrefined Cold Pressed

I haven’t used a cream moisturizer on my face in almost a year and it’s because of this amazing rosehip oil. The smallest amount of this oil goes a long way and along with moisturizing skin, rosehip is known for evening out skin tone too. Plus, it’s works great under makeup. I love using this at night-my skin is so hydrated and plump the morning after.

SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Makeup Remover

Micellar cleansing water is magic if you ask me. How does it take so much gunk off skin? Amazing. You’ll read many places to use micellar cleansing water before you wash your face, but I prefer to use after. It helps get any remaining makeup/dirt off my face before I continue my skin care routine.

The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution

I first started using at home peels about a year ago and I immediately got hooked. I’ve been loving the Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial and would highly recommend that one too. However, for a fraction of the price The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution gives extremely similar results. It actually has 5% more of alpha hydroxy acid, which makes it more intense of a peel. If you’re just starting off with peels, leave this one on your skin in smaller increments than the suggested 12 minutes. Or start off with the Drunk Elephant Babyfacial first, since that one is more mild. You really can’t beat the results with The Ordinary peel though and all for $13. Amazing.

Burt’s Bees Herbal Complexion Stick

I love anything tea tree oil, it’s just an amazing natural oil with so many healing properties. I loved the idea of this herbal complexion stick, because it has my other favorite skincare ingredient, witch hazel. I use this stick on any problematic area where I tend to breakout or get allergy rashes. You’ll see some people don’t like that it’s a roller, because they say you can get bacteria in the bottle. But I’ve never had a problem with it, considering I only put it on my squeaky clean skin. Plus, tea tree oil has antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. I notice a difference first thing in the morning, each time I use this product.

Thayers Alcohol-Free Cucumer Petal Witch Hazel Toner Facial Mist

Speaking of witch hazel, this Thayers Alcohol-Free Cucumber Petal Witch Hazel Toner Facial Mist is the most refreshing and lovely product in my skincare routine. I use all day long because of how wonderful it makes me skin feel. It even helps refresh your makeup too. I’ve used the rose petal combination of this toner too, and it’s just as great.

Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Treatment

If I have a seriously stubborn pimple, this is acne treatment is my go-to product. It not only uses salicylic acid to heal blemishes, but has that trusty witch hazel too, which adds a gentle healing property and helps to not over-dry skin.

Pacifica Purify Facial Cleansing Wipes

I’m pretty obsessed with the entire Pacifica collection, but these facial cleansing wipes are by far my favorite. These are great to use anytime, especially when you want to clean your face, but don’t want to use your facial cleanser (which may be more intense) more than necessary. It’s especially convenient before and after the gym or summer activities like the beach or pool.
