With the official start of Spring just a week away, I’ve started to re-organize my closet already for the new season. I realized that for as much as I love a good maxi skirt, I only had a couple. And maxi skirts are something I like to wear all year long, so it was time to add another one to the bunch.

These pink cateye sunglasses are currently my favorite. I love the style and color!
I love the brushstroke print and muted color of this printed maxi skirt. It’s also awesome that it comes in Petite and Regular sizing. While I’ve never let my petite frame stop me from wearing maxi skirts, it sure is easier to shop for them when they’re available in petite sizing. I’m wearing a size 2 Petite for reference and it fits me perfectly.

So what’s my little winter to spring style trick? Taking your long sleeve tees, or even a sweater if it’s thin enough, and giving it a little twist tie. It shows a bit of skin which I think looks cute with high waisted skirts or jeans, but it’s not a crop top and is still cozy. It gives you tops a fresh take and it’s just another way to wear them!
