I honestly wasn’t intentionally thinking about Fall when I wore this look, but I must have been subconsciously because this monotone summer to fall outfit has all those pretty autumnal colors.

I’ve talked about my love for these everlane cropped pants before here (actually wearing them with another bodysuit too!) As a petite woman, these are the best cropped pants I’ve ever owned and I’ll probably continue to buy them in other colors. My size is a 2 short, although I’m thinking of getting my next pair in a 0 so I can have one pair that’s a little more fitted than the other. Which goes to show how good these pants are that they can look great both ways!

Unless it’s an all-black or all-white outfit, where matching the colors perfectly is easy, when I’m going for a monotone look I prefer to choose shades in the same color spectrum. This way each color compliments one another, without looking like I’m trying to get too matchy-matchy.
These particular monotone colors choices are obviously perfect for Fall, but because I tend to be my most tan self at the end of the summer, I love this gradient for the way it compliments tanned skin too ☀️
