I’ve never really been a crop top person, yet the past couple of months I’ve found myself wearing them more than ever. I blame it on the heat/humidity here in Miami and wanting to wear pieces like long skirts and jeans, but trying to keep it as cool as possible. Enter the crop top, my new friend.

Crop tops I’ve been gravitating towards are simple in style and neutral in colors. I now consider them a basic in my closet, right next to my everyday tees. The square neck crop top I’m wearing has a flattering neckline and was perfect to pair with my white high waist jeans that have become another favorite of mine.
These jeans have a classic no-stretch fit, which I was happy to add to my jeans collection since most of mine have some kind of stretch. I’m wearing a size 26 in the ankle style. I find them to run long, but I’m used to cuffing my jeans, so I don’t mind.
I’m a big fan of almost everything Everlane does and I like to shop there for a lot of wardrobe basics.

I’m happy mule sandals aren’t going anywhere, I’m really into them. I love any sandal with a low block heel, as it easily elevates any look while remaining comfortable. Here are a few similar styles to the snake skin mule sandals I’m wearing that are unfortunately sold out.
In case you’re feeling crop tops these days too, I rounded up some great basic style below!
