Yes to all the booties! No to jeans that hide them or that you have to cram into ankle boots. Since I’m a shorty I run into this problem often. I think the pairs of jeans that work best with ankle booties hit a couple of inches above the ankle bone, leaving plenty of room for them to shine. I especially love a little flare in the hem too! I look for jeans with at least an inch shorter than average jeans in the inseam, which for me is a 25″ or 26″.
