Although my husband has developed a stronger threshold for spice (thanks to me sneaking it in little by little in our meals 😉) he still doesn’t enjoy anything over I’d say a 5/6 out of 10 in spice level. That being said, he loved this drink. He’s a huge fan of watermelon juice (who isn’t?!) and said the amount of spice was just right-and he’s not kidding. I’m pretty sure it’s muddling the jalapeño in lemon juice that does the trick in offering just the right heat which compliments the sweet and fresh watermelon perfectly!
