I’m always so excited to share a new skincare product I’ve been testing with you, especially when it’s from a brand I love. Olay is one of the very few affordable and conveniently accessible brands I have in my skincare routine, because being both of those things and delivering results is hard to come by. Today I’m sharing my Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream Review.
A cream that has shoutouts such as: “400% better than creams 18 times the price.” – Good Housekeeping, “This drugstore anti-aging face cream has thousands hooked.” – InStyle and “Best antiager” by Shape.
I preface all of my skincare reviews with a reminder of my extremely sensitive skin. So, while I take using anti-aging skin care products seriously, nothing is more important to me than making sure the products I use are gentle enough for my skin.
For starters, this Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream is fragrance-free. This cream also doesn’t just sit on the skin, which was my issue with my previous anti-aging cream and what I felt left me more prone to having irritated skin. This micro-sculpting cream delivers moisture 10 layers deep into the skin’s surface. And boy do I feel and see it.
The best word to describe the feeling and what I see is plump. I also see a bit of a brighter complexion, something I’m always looking to achieve with my skincare. Both of these things seem like exactly what a good aging cream should do to your skin, so I’ve been really impressed. It’s been almost 3 weeks since I began using this cream every single night (truly haven’t skipped a night, so I can really test it!) and I’ve found myself not putting moisturizer on in the morning, because my skin feels so hydrated from applying Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream the night before.
Wondering the price difference between my previous night time cream and this Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream? My other cream was over $40 more. You all know how I feel about a good deal, but that usually only pertains to my clothes, since I don’t really look for good deals in skincare because I’m more concerned with the effectiveness than the price. However, I’m really getting both with this cream and that’s amazing.
The moisturizing formula instantly hydrates and promotes cell generation with ingredients like Vitamin B3, Amino-Peptides, Hyaluronic Acid and Antioxidants. Honestly, it’s SO good.
I have a little bit left of my previous night time cream that I’ll find a way to finish just to not waste it, but I won’t be buying it again and I’m sticking to this micro-sculpting cream. Actually I think I’m going to go ahead and let my husband use what’s left of my previous $70 face cream. I’ll let him think that’s the good-stuff while I keep on using the real good stuff in this little red jar 😉
