It’s no secret I love floral. It’s a print that’s easy to find everywhere during Spring and Summer. However, I love wearing the print during Fall and Winter too. Just like stripes and cheetah print, the right floral print will work perfectly in your wardrobe for years to come.

The key to finding a floral print that works during Fall and Winter is all about color-whether it’s the color of the flowers or the color of the background. When I spotted this long sleeve black floral dress I knew I’d be able to style it in these current months with boots and booties and then with sandals in the warmer months.
The print on this dress is so vibrant against the black, I love it. Also, the drawstring waist and asymmetrical hemline is very flatting too.
I want to talk about the sizing of this dress for a sec, because it’s a little off. I’m wearing my usual size from this store, a Small. It fits me perfectly, but, I can see this dress being too short for someone who is over 5’4″ and also wears a Small-mainly because of the higher hem on the sides. However, because it has the drawstring waist where you can adjust it as needed, I wouldn’t shy away from sizing up on this dress-I think it would totally work.
I paired the dress with my black OTK boots. My favorite thing about these boots is the 3 1/4″ heel that I find is the perfect height for such statement boots and the self-tie back which I think makes these extra flattering. They’re also SO comfy!
