One of my favorite things about getting cold fronts here in Miami is taking my exercise outside. It’s such a treat. For me that sometimes looks like going for run and other days it’s a going for a long, calm walk around the neighborhood. I use both ways as an excuse to wear athletic wear that keeps me cozy, comfortable and can double as casual wear too.
I’m really into oversized t-shirts, because of their versatility. I like cuffing the sleeves and tucking them into bottoms like I did here and I also like pairing them with leggings. This graphic tee is 100% cotton single jersey giving it a breathable and soft feel to it. The graphic is cool too; it’s artwork by Shanghai-based artist Nini Sum.
I paired the tee with the areoknit snap pants, which are so comfortable. I love the wide leg on them.
I finished my athleisure look with the Ultraboost DNA sneakers. These resourceful sneakers are made with Primeblue, a high-performance recycled material made in part with Parley Ocean Plastic. VERY cool and thoughtful. They’re also so lightweight. This outfit would be perfect for my neighborhood walks!
For cold running days, I often prefer to keep warm up top (especially for my chest, which I find helps when I’m doing heavy breathing while exercising) and keep my legs bare for a comfortable running outfit. I’ve also always liked the look of a jacket with shorts-I think it’s a cute balanced look. This Aeroknit Track Top absorbs water and wicks sweat, which helps my body stay dry-something that is great when working out in the colder temperatures. It’s also very lightweight and has sleek pockets.
I finished this running look off with another pair of the Ultraboost DNA sneakers, this time in black. These sneakers’ flexibility and sock-like fit make them an awesome choice for running in, thanks to their Primeknit material. Also, their sleekness is perfect for styling with casual and athleisure looks too.
P.S. They run true to size.
