If you love dresses as much as me, today’s post was made for you! I’m sharing my favorite brands and shops I buy dresses from. While I purchase dresses from tons of different places, I’ve found myself coming back to these same brands and shops. You’ll probably notice a similarity between them, which emphasizes my personal style and taste when it comes to dresses. I love simple silhouettes with feminine touches and little unique/fun details. Like the dress I’m wearing above-it’s print is feminine and the puff sleeves offer a touch of fun.

Last year was a big year for me and dresses. I think I wore dresses more than any other type of piece, because it was easy enough to slip into and look and feel put together. I also had a shift in my approach to dresses. I used to have pretty distinct choices when it came to dresses I would wear at home, just to hang around in on the weekends and such and dresses I would wear when I was leaving the house. Last year I realized how much better I feel in a dress that has a bit more going on, frills if you would, even when wearing it at home or with little to no plans. Of course, this realization came to me because there wasn’t much of a choice to wander out and about in dresses, but still, it’s an approach that is stuck with me for good.
