Old Navy High-Waisted O.G. Straight Jeans Review

Old Navy High-Waisted O.G. Straight Jeans Review 2

I always get so excited to share with you when I find a new pair of jeans that I can give 5 stars! It doesn’t happen often, because I’m so picky with jeans and I’m loyal to the same brand and style. (you know, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it). Side note: I did share a few weeks ago these jeans that are new to me and much cheaper than my usual styles. However, while they are really cute on their own, they aren’t similar in style or fit to any of my $100 jeans.

So, I’ve been on a continuous search for a more affordable jean option that has a nearly identical style and fit to my trusty go-to’s. I will say, the cost per wear on those $100 jeans make them 100% worth every single penny to me. However, I knew there had to be other jeans out there that had a similar fit and style…I’m happy to say I found them!

These jeans fit SO good. The perfect amount of stretch, they’re 99% cotton with 1% spandex. A solid ratio for jeans that are structured and won’t stretch out on you during the day. I’m wearing a 2 regular and they are true to size, with a fit that’s curve-hugging, but still has a slight give. I would have loved to get the short hem, but those were sold out in my size. That being said, these aren’t too long on me at all, they just don’t hit me at a length I prefer. I prefer jeans’ hems to hit 1″ to 1 1/2″ above my ankle.

I don’t mind the regular length size on me, because I’ve already worn these High-Waisted O.G. Straight Jeans cuffed and they look super cute that way and I can also tuck the hem under as I did in these photos. I’ll see how long I keep them like this, giving me the option to do either of the above, or maybe I’ll end up cutting the hem all-together.

I now have these Old Navy High-Waisted O.G. Straight Jeans in two colors, the pair shown here and in black. I paid full price for the first pair, which was $50 (half the price of my other favorite jeans!) and are you ready for this? I paid $12 for my second pair! They were on sale and then I was able to use my super cash on top of that. Old Navy super cash is where it’s at-that perk is so good.

If these jeans were double the amount, I’d still think they were worth the price. I’ve already worn them a few times and I got them in the mail maybe two weeks ago?

They’re available in several denim washes and most styles are offered in tall, regular, short and plus.

So if you’re going to give them a try, which I highly recommend, go for you normal size. And let me know your thoughts on them if you do make the purchase!

For my other favorite jeans, check out this blog post. They’re a little pricier but also, SO good.

I love a white statement top, I think I have 4 at this point. I just find them a perfect piece that’s simple and classic and looks so cute with a pair of jeans. Elevates any look, even when wearing sneakers.
