Happy Friday! I hope you’ve had a great week. It always feels so strange getting back home from traveling mid-week, but at least the week has gone by quickly. The day after I got back home from my girls trip I got right to work not only in my office, but helping my husband do some landscaping in our front yard. We’re hoping to finish it this weekend and then we’ll have one more outdoor project for our home-then we’ll be done!

Taking some time off and getting away with my closet friends was such a gift. While I planned this trip around my work and had everything figured out to not have to work while on the trip, I still brought my laptop with me just in case. Well, I didn’t open it once the entire trip and my goodness did that feel GOOD. Especially for someone who ties my productivity to my mood (something I’m actively trying to get better with!).

Now onto this pretttyyyy mixed print dress. I loved this dress the second I saw it. The satin-like material, the butterfly sleeves, the button back and the mixed prints. All of those details make for a really cool dress! I’m also able to wear this dress without heels too, which will add to it’s versatility in my closet. (I’m 5’2′ for size reference). The dress has a pretty fit and flare structure to it too that I find very flattering and the slit in the skirt makes it more comfortable to move around in too.
