Two holiday flavors that are wonderful all on their own are cranberry and peppermint. Did you know that they’re also delicious together? I combined the two for a Peppermint Cranberry Martini and the end result was a delightful! Pepperminty with a tiny bit of cranberry sweetness. I think it would make a wonderful welcome cocktail to a holiday party for guests or served as a dessert cocktail.

Peppermint Cranberry Martini
Ingredients
- .5 oz Peppermint Vodka
- 1.5 oz Vodka
- 1 oz Cranberry Syrup, recipe below
Ingredient substitutions:
- Swap the cranberry syrup for 100% cranberry juice. This will be completely fine, it will just add more of a tart taste to the martini.
- Swap the regular vodka for cranberry vodka and swap the cranberry syrup for simple syrup.
Directions
Cranberry Syrup:
In a small sauce pan, combine 1 cup white sugar and 1 cup water and bring to a boil. Pour in 2 1/2 cups of cranberries and keep boiling for another 2 minutes. Take pan off heat and allow to cool. Then pour into a container or mason jar and place in fridge to completely cool. Once cold, you can use for the cocktail. Syrup will keep fresh for 2 weeks.
Peppermint Cranberry Martini:
Pour all ingredients into mixing cup that has a few ice cubes in it. Stir well with spoon. Use a strainer and pour into glass. Garnish with cranberries, peppermints or anything festive!
