My Spring Staples

I hope you had a wonderful weekend! Mine was very busy, but lovely. I know I said in my last post I was feeling in limbo with the seasons, but just a week later and I’m ready to bring out my spring staples. Which is exactly what I’m sharing with you today! These are pieces that I’ve had for up to 5 years that have become part of my rotation each spring, therefore making them great purchases IMO. Most are very budget-friendly too, which I think makes these pieces even better 😉

This is also the time of the year I pick up fresh flowers 1-2 times a month to have around the house. I’m very into dried flowers and greenery, I love the look of it and think it has more value than fresh flowers that eventually die. However, I love having a few vases filled with fresh ones across my house during spring-it makes me happy and is such a pretty sight (the little things 🥰) I always get mine from Trader Joe’s or a few trusted local floral pop-ups along the road; they’re always way cheaper and healthier than big supermarkets.

My Spring Staples

Some of my spring staple call outs…

  • I’ve got this cropped v-neck t shirt in a few vibrant colors and love pairing with jeans or denim shorts for a casual, fun look.
  • This round straw bag has been with me on countless spring and summer vacations over the past few years. For $30, it holds up nicely.
  • Over the past 5 years I’ve purchased 4 of these t-shirt swing dresses in different colors/patterns. They’re soft, breathable and versatile.
  • Possibly my favorite heel purchase of last year, these braided slide heels. They’re so adorable and SO comfortable-I can be on my feet all day/night in these.
  • I get fair use of my favorite bodysuits all year long, but I particularly love the way they look with shorts and skirts during spring. Like the grey bodysuit I’m wearing above.
  • I have Birkenstocks too, but if you’re on the fence with spending close too $100 on that style of sandal, these platform footbed sandals are incredible look-alikes at $25 and they are nearly as comfortable as Birks. They hold up too-I’ve had two pairs of these for 2 years and they look/feel brand new.
  • I think I first discovered what a romper dress was 3 years ago when I purchased this eyelet romper dress. I’ve been hooked since, because they are so cute and functional! The romper dress above is available in lots of colors too! I have it in white and green.
  • You know the majority of my favorite jeans are from Abercrombie, but when it comes to boyfriend jeans, these old navy jeans are my choice. I love to wear BF jeans during spring with silk camis (also listed above as one of my spring staples) and sandals.
