This has been a long time coming and I’m so excited to share my Best Petite Jeans Style Guide with you today! As a petite woman, it can feel straight up impossible to find jeans that fit just right without having to tailor them or cuff them. I do love cuffing my jeans, but sometimes you just want a clean sleek hem or now with the raw hem trend, that detail becomes obsolete if the jean is cuffed.
Along with the length of jeans comes the problem of having a smaller waist, but a thicker booty and thighs. It’s a struggle finding jeans that fit in all the right places. So below I’m going to share the jean brands that work great for me as a petite woman (which most brands constitute is 5’4″ and under) along with stores that carry petite jean lines. If you’re not petite, I would still recommend these jean brands (unless it’s an exclusively petite brand), considering their quality and fit is great!
Petite Jeans Style Guide: Best Petite Jeans
My holy grail of jeans. I own 5 pairs and counting. I have their mom jeans, ultra high-rise jeans, boyfriend jeans and skinny jeans. They fit my butt and thighs and for the perfect length I choose the short inseam option. You can see me wear one of my favorite pairs here. The brand also carries “curve love” options that are the same measurements as their regular sizing throughout the jean except for the hip area where it’s wider. Just another great option to choose from.

Levi’s jeans are classic for a reason and the fact that they offer their jeans in 25 and 26 inseams makes them a great option for petite women. I own 3 pairs of Levi’s jeans, with my favorite pair being the Levi’s® 724™ High Rise Straight Jeans (pictured above).

A few years ago I discovered BDG Jeans and after trying on my first pair, I immediately went online and ordered another pair the next day. I love the way these jeans fit and that they generally cost $59-$69. Note: not all of them are petite-friendly, because the inseam length depends on the style. When there is a style that has anywhere from a 25-27 inseam I know they’ll fit very well.

Ann Taylor petite denim is surprisingly some of the least expensive pieces on their entire site at $98 and the quality is great. Most of the jeans have an awesome stretch to them. What I really like about the Ann Taylor petite denim line is the fact that they include 25″ inseam options which are great for petite ladies who want their jeans to hit their ankle just right.

My favorite thing about Loft petite denim is the fit on my tush and the length. I like that if a pair of jeans is suppose to hit at my ankle, they do-no cuffing needed. My favorite are the styles that hit lower on the waist and sit more on the hip. I also love Loft Petite chino pants and crop pants, they fit so cute!
